The Insurance Manager Ltd, based in the middle of the Kent countryside at Throwley, near Faversham, has reached the shortlist for the European Risk Service Provider of the Year Award. The firm is up against established international companies such as Ernst & Young for this prestigious award which will be presented in Berlin.
"What seemed to impress the judges was the simple premise that good risk management needn't solely be the province of larger firms and that our system could deliver this in a way that actually produced immediate savings in the costs of insurance.
"We are, obviously, very pleased to be recognised in this way and it does give your confidence a boost when you consider that our small, five-year old operation can compete with much bigger and longer established international firms. We are the only ones on the shortlist that we haven't that was an unknown quantity.." |
A previous Swale Business Awards finalist, the company's MD Danny Cooper said: "We are the first company in the UK to provide clients in the SME sector with the benefits of their own insurance manager and create a seamless link between good risk management and lower insurance premiums.
