SAFER BUSINESS PARKS is a new project that the Thames Gateway (Kent) Chamber of Commerce is piloting in our region.

The aims of this initiative is to enable the business community on business parks and estates to work together on a variety of subjects (listed below), to better the overall community spirit and make the area a safer environment to work from.

The Chamber will liaise with other partners and community projects and encourage members with special expertise to head up a steering group, who will set the agenda and formulate a Safer Business Parks business plan.

Businesses can join the scheme for a small fee, starting from just £52 per year for those who employ up to 10 people.  This will then en title the members to a free database of businesses on their estate or park, free attendance to the numerous presentations, and free listing on the web pages.

Safer Business Parks signage and window stickers will also be available in the Autumn, along with a regular newsletter, advising the business community of crime figures, future dates for their diaries, web page updates and contributions from the members.
