Chambers of Commerce have long played an influential role in helping develop policies that affect businesses and have an impact on the region.
One of the core activities from when many Chambers were founded, this important role makes sure that we remain the voice of business – in the region and beyond Chambers gather the views, ideas and concerns of companies to enable them to feed into policy-making forums in local authorities, sub regional committees and development agencies, right up to Ministerial meetings.
To ensure that business receive the very best support and reach the widest possible audience, Chambers need to work with other bodies. |
